National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week
October 20-26, 2019
Each year, National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (NLPPW) is a call to bring together individuals, organizations, industry, and state, tribal, and local governments to increase lead poisoning prevention awareness in an effort to reduce childhood exposure to lead.
Tiny amounts of lead can have lifelong, untreatable consequences for our children. The good news? Lead poisoning is completely preventable. The Utah Lead Coalition is committed to developing resources and policy to eliminate new cases of childhood lead poisoning through a combination of community advocacy and education on the importance of early detection and prevention.
Join us and test your family’s blood lead levels to help secure their future today.
